vbs file location for logon script

    Question

  • on a windows 2003 DC what should the vbs file be?

if I open the gpo and hit show files it open up to the ..\Policies\{FRT$$GD-12DD-40A6-99BE-B4DE03DEYDGS}\User\Scripts\Logon.

    I thought c:\Windows\SYSVOL\domain\scripts

also what permission should on the vbs file . some users are getting Permission denied. especially citrix users and remote terminal users.

authenticated users have read and execute.

should everyone be list under the PERMISSIONS?

or should users have rights to the scripts folder not just the file?

the vbs file refers to another server

    objFSO.CopyFile "\\whatever02\Scripts\templates\Office\Powerpoint\blank1.pot", path & "\"

I checked users effective access they
    traverse
    list
    read attributes
    read extend
    read permissions

Put it whereever you like, and enter this path in the Script dialog box.

Then examine closer - this is not GP related, but ACL related.
