how to (remotely) know the logged users on the PCs RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,
i manage a little network with some pcs, all of them in a workgroup.

is there a way to know the current ogged user, via command line, on those pcs?

I tried with the following commands:

    PSLOGGEDON \\namepc

    quser /server:namepc

    WMIC /node:"namepc" COMPUTERSYSTEM GET USERNAME

    query session /server:namepc

and if I launch them from my pc, they works right but, only for some pcs, it gets me "error 5 access denied"

i activated the service "remote registry" on all the pcs

for all pcs i did the following modification into the registry:

reg delete "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server" /v AllowRemoteRPC
    reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server" /v AllowRemoteRPC /t REG_DWORD /d 1

but i get the same error, only for some of them

    any suggestion?

    thanks a lot
