How do I prevent IIS 8 from starting up when my computer starts

Question
-
I am using an apache server for writing web sites. I have to turn off IIS every day before I can start up my apache server. There should be a way of preventing this as was the case in earlier versions, but I cannot find it.
Windows 7 professional 64 bit.
Can anyone help?

Try disabling the service. Also might ask them here if you can't uninstall it.

From a "elevated" command prompt ( run as administrator) run the following command:
Bye Gasrem stop IIS sc stop W3SVC REM change the service startup to disabled! sc config W3SVC start= disabled
::END
