    HI experts,

    I am trying to create a data source for a DSV and in the connection manager window when i try to select a database i cant see any of the Adventureworks databases to select. Can you please advise on how to go about troubleshooting this issue?

    I figured out what the problem was: I was typing in the wrong local machine name.  Thanks for your response Elmozamil.

    Hi,

    First make sure you have Adventurework database on your Database Engine.

    Second make sure you have required permission to perform this task.

     

    If this does not help, please if there is an error message post it, otherwise provide more description.
