My newly bought Mouse will not install properly. There is always an error. RRS feed

  • Hello.
Today, I bought an Argos Value Optical Mouse.
    Model name: AM-3055U
I plugged it in via a USB port that works perfectly fine. It searches for driver automatically, but gives me this error. (To make things short...)
"An error occurred during the installation of the device:

The driver installation file is missing a necessary entry. This may be because the INF was written for Windows95 or later. Contact your hardware vendor."
The specs of my comp is.
    Manufacturer: Dell
    Model: Vostro VOSTRO_200
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU   E4500  @2.20 GHz  2.20 GHz
    Memory Ram: 2.00 GB
    System Type: 32-Bit Operating System.

I am on Service Pack 2 of Vista Home Premium.

The case clearly says that it works with any operating system above Windows 95. Yet I keep getting that same problem. It's seen as an Unknown Device. I cannot find any drivers for it on the internet... Help?
