And an update for Silverlight/a few for .NET framework 4

Since then, my Laptop takes about 6-7 minutes for booting (2-3 till the Login-Screen appears, and another 2 till WIN7 is fully ready). Before I installed said updates it didn't really take more than 1 minute.

I deinstalled every update and even completly deinstalled Silverlight + .NET 4, but nothing changes

    My system:

    Acer Aspire 7740

    I5 Quadcore @2,27Ghz

    4 GB Memory

    ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

I did not really install / update anything else, since the problem appeared.

Any clues/tips on how I can solve it, without reinstalling WIN7 (I just such a bother re-installing  dozens programs)

  • I suggest you troubleshoot in Clean Boot Mode.

However if the issue persists in Clean Boot Mode, I suggest you restore the system to the status before the updates were installed, then install the updates one by one. After doing so you will find the exact update.
