  • Hi,

chrome does not have 'Security zones'. You can find out which IE security zone the current host is mapped to from the File>Properties menu in IE.

IE has a security zone setting "Prevent navigation into a zone of lower integrity"... typically on managed networks, users will self-medicate and try to tweak their IE security zone settings to "try to get things to work". Or they will add hosts to their IE trusted zone when in fact, the host is already mapped to the Intranet zone by GPO.

    On a faulty client, Tools>Internet Options>Security tab,

    1. click "Reset all zones to default". then

    2. click the Trusted sites icon, then the 'Sites' button and inspect their list of hosts in the Trusted sites list. Usually on an enterprise network, only the hosts of your business partners are placed in the Trusted sites list, so that internal intranet hosts can bypass stricter security restrictions of hosts in the Internet zone. Otherwise, the Trusted sites list can be left empty, so that external public websites (like MS, google, facebook) are mapped to the higher security context of the Internet zone.

Your BI host is probably mapped to the Intranet zone by default.

"Also We are using form-based authentication."

you probably mean that you are hosting the BI reports in a Web browser control (WBC)?
