Rippng a DVD Made With Windows DVD Maker Results in Distortion RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've tried with several tools to rip a DVD made with Windows DVD Maker to mpeg2.  The rip is "successful" but the resulting video should be 4:3 and is really around 1:8.  Tall and skinny.  The audio is fine.  The DVD plays fine in several players.  Rips from other home made DVDs without DVD Maker are fine.  I'm trying to make a "best of" basketball DVD out of a bunch of other DVDs.

Any ideas?  Any help is greatly appreciated.
