Microphone do not work in Skype for business 2015 meeting RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Windows 7 64 bit and Office 2013 is installed. Skype patch KB4461446 32 bit is installed. 

    User A joins in a meeting. User B can hear the voice of User A. But User A cannot hear anyting. It happens randomly for User A. Audio driver is in updated verson. 

    Please advise if any thing else to be checked

  • Hi Boopathi,

    Does it impact all PCs or the specific PC?

    If it impact one user, from the Skype for Business client, please open the Skype for Business client > Click Options > Audio Device > Check if the status of your headphone is properly. Also, you can click “Check Call Quality” button to make a test call to hear how you sound.

    Have you tried with other headset to test if it works? 

    Does this problem occur before? Did you install any application or update which may occurs this problem?

    By the way, would you please also try to use Skype for Business Basic version to have a test?

    I reinstalled Audio driver for one user and issue not iccured again. I need to do the same for other 2 users.
