Lost Sent Mails In Outlook. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team

Due to some problem i had to reconfigure my maill server and mailbox.
after the reconfiguration i attached my previous PST and started working on it. After 3 months i got some problems in my mails and needed to reconfigure the Outlook mail, and when i attached my PST  its shows everything till the date when server was reconfidured.

For the 3 months i only have inbox and no sent mails.

Can anyone help on this .

    Thank You.

  • Hi,

How did you "attach" the PST file in Outlook? Do you mean open the PST file and then set it as the default delivery location?

Do you set Outlook to save your sent items during the 3 months?

Please check if you have any custom view or filter set on the Sent Items folder. We can try reset the views of Sent Items folder to see the result. To do this, select the Sent Items folder, click View tab > Reset View button.

Please let me know the result.

It's recommended to download and install Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office programs.

  • Hello,

Have you tried SCANPST.EXE (Inbox Repair Tool)?

If not, then you should try this free utility provided by Microsoft.

    Thanks & Regards
