  • Hi Rama,

What do you mean by "not syncing from onprem to cloud"? Shared calendar permission doesn't work in Outlook client or web mail?

Please first check if permission works correctly on OWA.

How do you assign the "send on behalf" permission? If you set this via File > Account Settings > Delegate Access, please make sure the address is correct when choosing from GAL.

If you choose from Offline Address Book, we can also update OAB and then re-assign permission to check the result. To do this, please click Send/Receive tab > Send/Receive Groups > Download Address Book. Unselect “Download changes since last Send/Receive and then click OK to update OAB.

If issue only occurs on Outlook client, this could also be related with corrupted data file. Please follow the details in this article to recreate a new OST file.

Any updates, please feel free to post back.

    Regards,

    Perry

we are syncing the objects from AD to Azure AD using AAD Connect Server .

we are facing the issue with shared mail boxes.

while  in ad they have send as permission some users are there but...if same shared mailbox sync to cloud users are comming as per the AD but send as permissions users list not updating....

Are you moving the maiboxes (the trustee mailbox and shared mailbox) at the same time? If not, then that is expected. Otherwise, if the shared mailbox is on-prem and the trustee is in 365, you have to give send as to the sycned object in 365

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/exchange-hybrid

In the case of Send As permissions, if the user and the resource attempting to be sent as aren't moved at the same time, you'll need to explicitly add the Send As permission in Exchange Online using the Add-RecipientPermission cmdlet.

  • Identified two shared mail boxes are created in both AD and Azure AD as well.

  • Hi Rama,

Sorry for the late reply because of Chinese Lunar New Year.

As here we mainly focus on issues regarding Office desktop client, I'm not familiar with AD and Azure AD. Based on your description, please post this thread to Exchange Online forum for a better response.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

    Regards,

    Perry
