One out of nine projects doesn't have any resource constraint RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to implement a Portfolio management, but when I arrive on the Analysis page I get the above error message (translated from French).

All my projects have resources assigned to the tasks, just one of them has a upper level Resource plan. Is it the issue?

    Thanks

  • You should be able to add the project with a resource plan. Have you checked the option of using Time phased Resource Planning under your Analysis properties?

  • In fact I removed this Project waiting for approval (with its resource plan) from the list of the selected projects for the Portfolio analysis, and then the error message disappeared. So is it impossible to add a project demand with a resource plan in a portfolio analysis?

  • Hi Prasanna,

Yes, I checked  the option : "Time phased Resource Planning" and then I overruled the warning message. Yesterday evrything seemed to work finee in my Porfolio analysis, but this morning my project with its Resource Plan lost all of ist resources and of course all its cost ans all its workload...

    What did I missed?
