  • You Tube and Flash videos do not work in Metro Internet Explorer but they work fine in the desktop I.E.10

    Any suggestions?

  • Metro IE10 does not support plug-ins such as Flash Player, Silverlight, or Java, meaning that many websites will not work properly in Metro IE10 until those sites are redesigned to use HTML5. If you want to watch YouTube videos in Metro IE10, you can use this link:

  • Metro UI and Desktop IE10 are written using two different protocols.

    For backwards compatibility they chose the classic setup for desktop. And to support the new HTML5, they used Metro IE10. simple and effective.
