  • Hi all

    I am looking at replacing a backup product with DPM 2016 and wondered what storage targets where supported

    it seems that only directly mounted storage can be used as a backup repository or am I way off mark here

  • Hi! Directly mounted storage or Azure cloud storage can be used as a backup repository With DPM2016 you can also make use of the new feature, Modern Backup Storage . Best regards, Leon

  • Hi

    A bit of a shortfall if you would like the back up store to be off site to the DPM server

    I am going to try to present an ISCSI disk from windows to the DPM server and see what data transfer rates we see

  • Yes it has it’s limitations. What you can use on the off site is secondary DPM server thah backs up the primary DPM server.
