  • on windows XP how do you move the taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the left side?

  • Click the left mouse button on an empty part of the taskbar, hold down the mouse button and drag the mouse pointer to the side of the screen where you want the taskbar to be moved to; then release the mouse button.
    Before moving, right click the taskbar and check that the option that locks the taskbar is not enabled or you will not allowed to move it.
