Can printers run from XP mode in Windows 7? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I updated from Windows XP to Windows 7 and the only issue I am having is with my HP LaserJet M1522nf.

Is it possible to run that printer from the XP Mode in Windows Virtual PC?

  • Actually, you can run the printer in both the host machine and Virtual machine. For more steps to share the printer in XP Mode, please refer to the link below:

  • Yes, but you still won't be able to print directly from Windows 7.  XP Mode doesn't overcome missing Windows 7 printer drivers.
