The Store App has stopped working RRS feed

  • This just started today - the Windows Store App won't launch.  It will just stick on the green loading screen.  Occasionally it will close after a few minutes without any warning.

    All of the other apps work just fine, weather, messaging, mail, music etc.

    I've downloaded the App troubleshoot, which didn't find any problems.  I've done sfc /scannow, which also didn't find any problems.

    All of the the other trouble shooting tips revolve around going through the store and uninstalling the app (har har).

    I would prefer solutions that don't require a refresh, I really don't want to have to install all of my programs/steam/games again.

    Any tips?

  • What did you install before the issue occurred?

    1. Try to create a new user account to check the result.
    2. Check if there is any related logs in Event Viewer.
    3. Ensure UAC is enabled.
