unable to connect wifi in windows server 2003 RRS feed

    I installed  virtual PC in my laptop. In virtual pc i installed windows server 2003. I would like to connect wifi in server. Pls help me to connect to internet in the server.

  • Sure...

    1. Start up Virtual PC (assuming 2007 here)
    2. Highlight (click) the virtual image in question
    3. Click the <Settings> button
    4. In the Settings For... dialog, select the Networking setting, its properties should appear in the right of the dialog now
    5. In the Adapter 1 drop-down, select the network adapter that your host machine is using
    6. Click <OK>
    Now when you spin up that virtual, it'll use your host's NIC.  If your host is connected to the 'net, your virtual (guest) will now be as well.

  • Well, assuming your host machine is connected to the 'net via its WiFi, in Virtual PC, make sure you set the networking option to use the host's WiFi card.
