MDT - How to install both versions of the Adobe Acrobat via task sequence RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

Could anybody point me please to instructions on how to install and keep both Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 15 via the MDT task sequence? I encountered the problem that if I use the standard msiexec /i AcroRdrDC1500720033_en_US.msi /qn command, the previously installed version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader 11 is uninstalled automatically and replaced with the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 15. But I need to keep them both.

Thanks a lot for your help, in advance!

  • This is the result of running an app install that is designed to be an upgrade (15 is considered an upgrade of 11). You might be able to try /a instead of /i though. Although I doubt Adobe supports these different versions side-by-side.

    Thank you!!!

  • I don't think what you want to do will be possible. I would ask Adobe of it is possible and if so how.
