IE 11 on Windows 7 Https urls not working with TLS enabled or default properties RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are trying to use ssl on our website and https url is not working in IE 11 on Windows 7, but chrome  is working fine without changing anything.

Only way to make IE11 working is to use SSL3.0 enable and disable all TLS, which is not feasible solution for us as SSL3.0 is not safe and its difficult to push this to all users in the organization which may effect other websites settings.

Is this a bug with IE ? How do we fix this ? Any ideas would be very helpful.

Did the issue only occur with the specific URLs or all the URLs? Did the issue occur on specific machine or all the machines? Have you got any error messages?

First of all, please ensure all the machines are up to date.
Try to untick all the SSL options and only keep TLS options then check the symptom again.
To analyze the issue deeply, please try to capture the network packets then upload them to OneDrive and paste the link here. Collect a normal one and a problematic one.

    Best regards
