Using Operating System Deployment in ConfigMgr 2012 for deploying Windows 7 is the same regardless of what operating system your ConfigMgr server is running. Those tutorials should give you what you need.

It's not the sccm 2012 & win7 that's the [problem.
It's Server 2012 and SCCM 2012.
I'm a newbie and I've been using the tutorials. All tutorials I can find use Server 2008. The tutorials talk about a USMT folder. It's got to be a 2008 thing, no such folder on Server 2012.
I'm trying to follow the how-to's and it's not working.

Also keep in mind that step by step guides in general only provide *one* way to set things up. This might be useful for lab deployments, but might not fit the needs of a company. Many things have to be considered if you want to implement it in a production environment.
