Can't see notification about new message in the Groups folder RRS feed

    In my Outlook 2016 I have Folder pane on the left. And there I have Groups folder, as I understood there are not emails under it, but some kind of Conversation objects. So in this folder I receive messages from Sharepoint / Office 365 groups and communities.

    But for some reason Outlook doesn't show me notification at taskbar about new message. So I have to check for new messagess in the Groups folder manually and it is very uncomfortable and inefficient.

    Tell me please how to fix it. Thank you.

    Hi ayulit,

    Based on my test and research, I am afraid this is by default that new messages sent to the Groups folder won't trigger a new mail alert.

    As a workaround, we may drag the folders under Groups that we need to monitor to the Favorites section at the top of the Mail Navigation (CTRL+1):

    So that it can be easier to check the new messages in the Groups folder.
