I tried reinstalling and that didn't work. Then I tried uninstalling and installing with a downloaded version of IE but that wouldn't work is said that there was a newer version installed. I tried the Microsoft FixIt and that also didn't work. Disabling the plug-ins same story. I cant boot into safe mode since I'm remotely managing the computer. Is there anything else I can try except for a repair install of windows?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: If necessary I can translate the error report...

  • Disabling the plug-ins same story. I cant boot into safe mode since I'm remotely managing the computer.

Booting in safe mode is just a convenient first step for avoiding startup programs.  So, killing them after a boot may be just as effective.

Alternatively, the crash indicates Stack corruption, so you might get clues from a Stack Back trace for the crashing thread or even just from the loaded modules which are left when you get the message.  E.g. use ResMon or ProcExp to see such clues.

  • Hi,

Please download this reg file from my OneDrive:

(Remove the .txt extension) and make a double click on the .reg file to import it.

When the Internet Explorer crashes, Windows Error Reporting Service  creates a dmp file under C:\Localdumps. Please upload the file to your public OneDrive folder and post the link here.

  • Hi Thanks for the advice already, still havent found the issue. Now the StackHash seems to have disappaered, now ist just an APPCRASH. I have two crash dumps as asked!!107&authkey=!AEATNI-hON5ooTQ&ithint=file%2c.dmp!108&authkey=!AGPoye6bU3EhFWc&ithint=file%2c.dmp

    Thanks A Lot!!!

  • just an APPCRASH

Still looks like a problem with that Stack.  However, I notice that you may have nVidia video support.  Then it would be an idea to check (in Options, Advanced tab)  Use software rendering instead of GPU
