Windows Vista Internet Browsers stop working giving NOT RESPONDING error RRS feed

  • This problem seems to occur only if I'm connected to the internet. This problem occured  after Windows made an automatic updates. I use a wireless connection with Chrome or Mozilla. Shortly after I access a website maybe one minute on the website Chrome says NOT RESPONDING and nothing more can be done online. The computer freezes or locks up and nothing can be done. All I can do is remove the laptop battery to shut it off and then I can reboot again.  The problem comes back and does not go away. I will try safe mode internet connection to see if the problem occurs there. Any help would be appreciated as I  need the internet.

  • Try run Windows Update and install all updates.

    Check for driver update and if there is any out of date driver, try to update them too.
