How do you add a SharePoint link to the tool bar in Server? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have created a SharePoint page which has training materials and visual guides on how to complete certain processes in MSPS 2010.  I want to embedd the link of the SharePoint into the tool bar of MSPS 2010 so my clients have instant access to the training materials whilst they are carrying out their maintenance.

Does anyone know how I would go about this please?

    Kind Regards

    KP

  • Hi KP,

I would prefer to have the link on the Global Navigation for PWA home page.
    PWA> Site settings> Navigation> Global Navigation & add a link.

Alternatively, you can have the summary links webpart to all the pages or a button on the ribbon.

    Doe that help?

  • Hi Amit,

I understand what you mean but this would be just for plan owners when they are completing their maintenance in project.  I dont want them to have to open PWA to then navigate to the link.  Having the link directly on the project toolbar will enable them to remove this effort and also push the offering to them directly.

I really appreciated your input though so thanks for getting in touch.

    Kind Regards

    KP
