WMI-Failed Due to Access Denied RRS feed

  • Hi there, 

    I've encountered the following problems while trying to perform the Software Inventory Scan.

    I have used the Adminstrator credentials to perform WMI authentication for the whole VLAN.

    However, my scan results showed that they have found most of the devices ACTIVE in the VLAN, but no software were found. Upon checking the Microsoft.AssessmentPlatform.UI.Console.log, i've found the following error msg.

    Device inventory completed. Elapsed time = 00:00:27.188. Collector scan results: Wmi = FailedDueToAccessDenied, Registry = FailedDueToAccessDenied.

    Could this be a firewall issue or DNS that forbids software inventory data to be collected?

    Can someone help to enlighten my situation?
