  • I have created one hard disk (sdc) and want to add in (sdb) hard disk how to add in command line in LVM please let me know.

  • logical steps to reduce the size of the LVM partition :Unmount the filesystem using unmount command,
    Use resize2fs command , e.g resiz2fs /dev/mapper/myvg-myself 10G
    Now use the lvreduce command as reducing -L 10G /dev/mapper/myvg-mylv
