Use extensionAttributes for filtering users in MIM 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

i set up a new installation of MIM 2016 for User Profile Sync with SharePoint 2016.
The customer wants to filter out active directory users which have a value in "extensionAttribute10".

I tried to create a new connector filter, but i don't find these extensionAttributes to filter:

Maybe because it's an Exchange Attribute? Is there another possibility?

    Best regards,

  • ok, then i'm out, because i'm not the specialist for the sharepoint user profile import.

may be it helps when you try an schema update on the AD management agent, but in an normal MIM Synchronization these two things with "show all" and "schema update" should help.

  • Hi,

Check that the attribute is selected in the "Select attributes" tab. If not visible there, do a Schema Refresh.

  • Hi,

do you have added the required extension attributes in the "select attributes" section before?
If not you need to add them in these section. If the Attributes could not be selected in this dialog check the "Show All" tick box on the top right in the dialog.
