Uninstall the software and install it again using "run as admin".

If this is Exchange 2003/Windows 2003, no UAC!

If this is Exchange 2003/Windows 2003, no UAC!

Then use "run as ..." and a domain admin account.

I think if you look at the IIS admin you'll see that the tool created
a new site and not just a new Virtual Directory beneath the default
    web site.

I remember running into the same problem when I installed that
    software many years ago.

Make sure you run the .msi on the Front-End server. And make sure that
when you navigate to the URL that you're using an account with the
necssary access. IIRC only the "administrator" account had access.

  • Hi A_D

Thanks for this answer A_D . Could you please let me know how to sych contacts from External LDAP directories to MS Exchange.

We have lotus notes environment . In exchange 2010 , there is no lotus notes connector .

After googling , i found that there are third party tools which can allow the synchronization between the external ldap directories and exchange 2010

Are you aware of any of microsoft tool , which allows the synchronization between the external ldap external directories and exchange 2010

  • Hi

Any idea , if we can do anything apart from uninstalling the software . People don't agree for an uninstall that easily

If it isn't working, why is there a reluctance to remove and
    reinstall?

You're not going to remove anything associated with the operation of
Exchange. If what you have isn't working why not remove it?

    Hi Rich

Uninstall is an option which was suggested by me , however since change team has to approve before it is done on the production environment .

I am unable to give them a solid reason for the same

Did it work successfully in your test environment? If not, how'd it
ever get past your "change team"?

Since you haven't provided any more detail beyond the initial "it
doesn't work" there's not much anyone's going to be able to help you
    with.

1 No relevant error message in the application log

2 after disabling the ssl , the link opens up in the model environment . However , SSL option is required . We would have to keep SSL option , on the mobileadmin folder

I don't see any reference to the mobileadmin virtual directory in
those items from the IIS log. All I see are access to the /exchange
virtual directory and to the default website, all of which are using
    HTTPS.
