New .pdf automatically saves rather the open to view. RRS feed

    When I click on an email attachment to view a .pdf file I use to be asked if I wish to open & view file.  One time I decided to Save File instead.  Now I automatically go to Save File.  How do I undo this default?

    Are you using web mail or email applications?

    You may try to restore the system to revert the change.

    Hi Arthur, thank  you for the reply.

     

    I use webmail.  I know it can be reversed but do not recall where I went to do it.  I did not want to restore the system as that it may impact something else, sort of the law of unintend consequences... :)   For the heck of it, I did reload Adobe Acobat to see if would give me a hint but as expected, it was to no avail.
