Hi ,
I'm beginner for SCCM. my Office have a physical branch office in another location. I'm at Main Location. SCCM server also located in Main Location. I've done client installation , implemented the Software Distribution & software updates also to my Main Location. now my Requirement is this Implement to my Branch Office also. Software Distribution & Software updates should be running from Branch Office. it is not should be from Main location. then i can reduce network traffic also. so please advise me on below points.
- How to Install SCCM Clients to Branch Office users as well. how can I assign them to their Branch office DP.
- How can I configure Branch Office Users for Software Distribution & Software Updates from Branch Office DP.
Please advise me clearly on this.

To make sure that a client uses a specific Distribution Point, you should make it a Protected Distribution Point.

Clients will select a DP in their own local IPsubnet and use that for all available packages and updates. Check this flowchart http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb932150.aspx and use the information from Peter to configure the DP's.
