For my pc to sense the re-writeable dvd, I have to use the MS dvd fix it program at the end of which I am able to open the dvd. However, the program indicates that it can not find the UpperFilters and the LowerFilters. Indeed, I can not find them in
the registry after a tech replaced the motherboard. When I copy and then burn a video on this dvd, burning stops.
Further, following one advice on the net to uninstall the drivers as a possible solution, I noticed that the option is to delete them permanently. Does that mean they would not get reinstalled automatically upon restart?
I am using W7 and IE10.
