Hiding Site Contents from Quick Launch RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to remove the Site Contents link from the left panel Quick Launch. But when I go to the site settings and navigation I do not see it listed so that I can hide it. How do I hide it?

    Thanks.

  • In the Navigation it should be in the Current Navigation check there, if you still can't see you should be having EDIT Link in the bottom of left navigation you can move it from there as well if you can't see that option as well, then do it with below code by adding it in your master page.

    <style>
    #sideNavBox a[href$="/_layouts/15/viewlsts.aspx"]
     {
        display: none;
     }
    </style>

  • Hi J-Bal,

    1. With at least edit permission, you could edit Quick Launch to remove Site Contents.

    2. Go To Site Settings -> Navigation under Look and Feel -> Structural Navigation: Editing and Sorting -> Click Site Contents -> Delete.

    Best regards,

  • Cannot see the Edit button on the quick launch or the "Site Contents" under Navigation. They aren't there.
