SharePoint 2010 - Automate On Call List Order RRS feed

    Is there an automated way via workflow or out of box solution to automatically schedule a sort order or rotation of SharePoint list by row order?

    I have a SharePoint 2010 list that is used as an "on call" rota list, which is populated with the contact details of colleagues who are on call.  On the 5th of each month, we would rotate the order of the list -- whoever is on call this month (#1 on the list) will rotate to the bottom of the list, and whoever is #2 will be promoted to #1 and so on down the list.

    So far we have been manually updating the list by editing the list and changing one of the column called "Order" by adjusting the value within e.g. "1" becomes "10"; "2" becomes "1"; "3" becomes "2" etc..

    You can have a timer job that does the same for you.
