    hi

    I tried to run bitlocker in Lenovo yoga 500. it says TPM not available. then I checked in device manager also there is no listed.

    how to update TPM driver. I am using window 10 Pro.

    TPM is a chip on the motherboard of your computer, it stores certain information using BitLocker to keep your hard drive more security by allowing it to only work with that specific computer, once encrypted. TPM has to be turned on in the BIOS for Windows to be able to use it at all, my guess is it's off and Windows can't find it to use it. You need to check the BIOS, it is sometimes listed as "security options" or "security device" or "Trusted Platform Module" (TPM)...

    Did you care to check the specifications at the lenovo page and see whether it even has a TPM? Many consumer laptops didn't until lately microsoft required it (or MS wn't certify those systems as win10 ready).
