Hi,
Given this situation, please check the email address of the sender rather than display name. Microsoft's official mailbox has a suffix: @microsoft.com.
Besides, it is also suggested to view full message Headers as a double check:
1. Double-click the email message to display it in its own full window.
2. Select “File” > “Properties“.
3. The Properties window is displayed. View the message header in the “Internet headers” field at the bottom of the window.
4. Check the sender’s email address.
