How to install Nano Server on a bare-metal hardware?

Question
-
Is it possible to install nano server on a bare-metal hardware, just like any other Hypervisor/OS?
What I have learnt after reading blogs and technet articles is; we need to create a nano server VHD and boot physical server using that vhd. Instead how to create a nano server iso and install on physical server?
Thank you,

I found a blog on Dell techcenter community site, Dell has tested Installing Nano Server on Dell PowerEdge Server Internal Dual SD Module.
Thanks

Here's one way of doing it from the Nano Server blog: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/nanoserver/2015/12/01/deploying-nano-server-to-a-bare-metal-machine-using-a-wim-and-winpe/

Hi,
It seems you have only the VHD option so far.

Search engines are available on the internet. Search for 'install Nano Server on a bare-metal hardware' and you will find a lot of information on this very topic. Following the adage of "... teach a man to fish ...".

Why not making it as convenient as VMware ESXi installation-wise? Why do you love to complicate things so much?Tuesday, October 18, 2016 7:42 AM

Agreed. What's wrong with a "Nano Server" option when booting from Windows media?
