computer hangup RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am running windows XP professional with Windows Live one care. Occasionally the compuer freezes (hangs up) with the disk light on solid. The only way I can reboot is by forced power off. Now I can't load a new program. Live one care tune up and virus scan does not resolve the issue.

I am not familair with registry clean up softwares. Please advise if I need a registry cleanup? There does not appear to be any hardware problem sicne the computer works otherwise. Do I need registry cleanup.
