ADFS with password hash sync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

We are looking to have our password hash's synced with Azure AD, but would like to continue using ADFS. From the document entitled Migration from ADFS to Password Hash Synchronization it looks like that may not be an option ("Note: At this time, you cannot avoid un-federating all domains in your tenant when you change the user sign-in to Password Hash Synchronization when AAD Connect was originally used to configure AD FS for you.")

Is there any way to continue using ADFS and also have password hash saved up into the cloud?

Answers

  • You can just sync the password hashes with Azure AD Connect without touching anything on the authentication methods.
