Hi finno, this issue can be caused by codec in Windows Vista. I suggest first install the following third party codec and check the result:

    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Codec-Packs-Video-Codecs/Advanced-Vista-Codec-Package.shtml

Please Note: The third-party products discussed here are manufactured by vendors independent of Microsoft. We make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding these products' performance or reliability.

Let's see if this resolves the issue.

Hi finno, you can go to Control Panel – Programs and Features – View installed updates, choose and uninstall Windows Dreamscene. Then, let's reinstall it and check the result.

  • Hi

sean i done what you suggested but still no luck it seems like a codec problem see the way the dreamscene files are in mpeg its like it does not whant to play mpeg files. I will try and install some mpeg codecs on there own rather than a codec pack . But thanks for all your help if you have any other suggestions fire away if you dont dont worry about it

    thanks

Hi finno, you can try the following codec and see if that works:

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDshow.htm

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm
