SCCM 2012 R2 Installtion Error: SQL server failed to backup cert RRS feed

    Hello,

    I am running into an installation error when installing SCCM 2012 R2 on Windows 2008 R2 Server. 

    Setup: Windows 2008 R2 Server SP1 with SCCM 2012 R2 named RPD-VM-SCCM.  Database: Windows 2008 R2 Server SP1 with MSSQL 2008 R2 SP2 (10.50.4286.0) named RPD-VM-SQL, not clustered.

    When running the Install, I get all green checkmarks except the following error message at the end:  "Setup has encountered fatal errors while installing SMS services.  Click the View Log button for more information."

    When checking the ConfigMgrSetup.log, here are the last few lines:
