    I'd do the following:

    1.) Click on the start orb and type CMD
    2.) right-click on the CMD prompt at the top and select Run as Administrator
    3.) type SLMGR -dlv {enter}
    4.) Note the date that Windows 7 is set to expire.
    5.) Click on the start orb again, type WinVer {enter}
    6.) Click on Winver.exe
    7.) Note the expiration date there as well.

    Let us know what they say.

    To answer your questions in order:

    July 2nd 2009 - and build 7000... Yes... you'll need to do the following before August 2nd, 2009:

    1.) Go to your local Microsoft web site and download the RC.
    2.) Burn the ISO to a DVD
    3.) Back up your files to either a CD, DVD, USB stick, or another hard drive.
    4.) Boot your computer from the freshly burned DVD with the RC on it.
    5.) Install it
    6.) Restore your files from the backup.

    Note: For the backup, you can use the Windows Easy Transfer utility - but if you do, be sure to use the version that's on the RC DVD! (VERY IMPORTANT! The one that came with the Beta may not be 100% backwardly compatible)

    Note: If you don't get this done before August 2nd, you will likely have a very difficult time retrieving your files. The Beta will expire and will not start or give you access to your stuff.
