  • Those are not discovered computers: those objects are "placeholders" for unknown computers when you want to to OSD. They cannot be used to push the client to. You have to enable AD system discovery first; that will add computers the database which can be used to initiate push.

  • These are not discovered object, all unknown computers collection used for OSD only, you can not push the client agent on that collection.

so you would have to configure the AD discovery in your environment, configure that and then push the client on them.

how to configure discovery in SCCM look on that.

  • Dear Sir,

Those two are 'built-in's, not your servers.

    Thank you for the information

I have already done the AD forest discovery but no way to show the servers in the dashboard.I have tried to install the client manually using CCMsetup.exe but unfortunately it ran error as an external command.

I have configured the SCOM as well on the same server. In scom iam able to get all the PCs and able to deploy the client in both servers and i am able to see the servers in dashboard.

  • AD forest discovery does not help. You should use AD System discovery instead.

  • Torsten,

    Cheers...

It got worked man.Now it has come up in dashboard. Moreover the client pushing also showing success.

But its not showing any details only hostnames i can see in the dash board.

Iam continuously getting error in event viewer as below:

On 08/17/16 18:42:04, component SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER on computer USA.xxx.xxx reported:  Site Component Manager failed to install this component on this site system.

Solution: Review the previous status messages to determine the exact reason for the failure. Site Component Manager will automatically retry the installation in  minutes. To force Site Component Manager to immediately retry the installation, stop and restart Site Component Manager using the Configuration Manager Service Manager.

Please help me like what next i need to do for getting monitored the discovered machine. And how to verify whether the client has pushed in the servers.

    Regards Roo
