Assign "replicating directory changes" to an specific OU on Active Directory

    Question

  • Hi,

I have a question, I just wan't to know if it is possible to assign the "replicating directory changes" permission by OU and not by domain as it's usually done.

    Thanks!

  • Hi

What do you mean for "replicating directory changes, by OU and not by domain as it's usually done."?When you perform a process this will replicate all DC's whole domain. So when you configure anything on a OU then it will replicate to other DC on domain related to changes about this OU..

  • Hi,

Do you want to replicate few OU's and not whole AD database to DCs right?

  • Replicating Directory Changes is an Access Control Entry on each domain naming context and thus you cannot apply it on a specific OU.

    Karim

Exact, I need a user to have permissions to read only the replicating changes from an specific OU and not the whole AD DB.
