  • None of the above. In fact only two files above has anything to do with ConfigMgr (the second and fifth ones).

    The file file you need will be explicitly listed as System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager SP1 and will be about 5MB in size. You will not see this file though if you are not entitled to R2 as you are only entitled to it is you have software assurance or purchased Configuration Manager as R2.

    Isn't the 2nd one Service Manager?

  • Yep, you're right. Which is exactly why you shouldn't just go by the cryptic ISO file names.

  • Hello Jason,

    I went to Technet and got this time the following files. Are these the ones then that I need to use? If they are, what license do I need to use as we bough the SCCM2012 with SA?

  • The fourth one looks like it might be correct yet. Where exactly did you download it from?

  • This is SCCM 2012 R2;

    SW_DVD5_Sys_Ctr_2012_R2_MultiLang_ConfMgr_ML_MLF_X19-18215.ISO

  • "TechNet" doesn't help me tell you if its the correct one -- there are hundreds of thousands of locations on TechNet. Kind of like saying I met that guy in New York, you know the one. It's a meaningless statement.

    As for the license, not sure what you mean there. If you mean the key, then there's nothing to do there.

  • You're right about Technet. I went to Downloads and System Center 2012 R2, and this is the link:
