Microsoft Project 2013 Download RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying down the trial version of Microsoft 2013.  But it only lets me download the img file to burn to a cd.   I just want to download the product to this pc itself.

The best you can do is to download the IMG file and then unzip the contents to a folder from which you can install the software.  If you have Windows 8, you can unzip the contents of the IMG file by double-clicking it while running your Windows Explorer software.  Otherwise, you can download a free software application that will allow you to unzip the contents of the IMG file.  I personally use the program called 7-Zip, but there are others available for free as well.  Hope this helps.

  • In addition, to Dale's suggestions, you could use SlySoft's Virtual CloneDrive is freeware, available for download at It mounts CD/DVD images (.iso, .img etc.) to a virtual local drive and works great if you are using Windows 7 or earlier.
