chunked file upload through UAG RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am uploading a file to a website on iis with curl. I use the http PUT command for this:

    curl -k -Li  -H "Transfer-Encoding:chunked"   http://server1.example.com/default.aspx -c cookies --upload-file file.txt

This works fine when I run this command without going through UAG. But if I do, I get a 500 internal server error(There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.) back from UAG. When I run this command without

    -H "Transfer-Encoding:chunked"

It works fine through UAG. Does anyone knows what the problem is?

  • Have you done live logging through TMG on the UAG server?

Do you get an error message there as well similar to http://blogs.technet.com/b/yuridiogenes/archive/2010/12/22/3292163.aspx?

If so, I would venture to say that this is either a client or server issue - not UAG/TMG.

  • I just have done live logging and TMG doesn't block anything. Without the chunked I see an extra message with the amount of bytes(uploaded file) that are send to the server. With chunked that message isn't there. So I don't know what causes this problem.
