    I have a gateway and I have been trying to open my microsoft word and it will not open. I have tried the other microsoft applications and they will not open either. I have tried uninstalling it and it says it there was a problem uninstalling it. I have had this happen more than once and I do not know what to do anymore.

    Hi,

    According to your description, did you mean that you use Start menu to open the Office programs? Which Office version did you use? Could you give me the error message when you uninstalled it?
    Please refer to the link and re-install Office again.
