Windows 7 Outlook 2003 Word 2003 Group RRS feed

  • Question

  • Using Outlook 2003 in Windows 7 Ultimate

When minimizing an outgoing Outlook message, it goes into the Word group (button) rather than the Outlook group button.  Is there a way to change this so that the minimized message window goes to the Outlook group (button)?

  • Hi CarsonThom,

Do you mean that the minimized windows are grouped wrong? If I misunderstand, please free to let me know.

Since it is to be more of Microsoft Outlook problem, I recommend you to contact Outlook support team or Microsoft Outlook 2003 Solution Center for a better assistance.

Before contacting Outlook support team, you can try:

    1.       Associate a fie type or protocol with a specific program.

    1)      Click Start and Click Default Program.

    2)      Click Associate a file type of protocol with a specific program.

    3)      Associate the following types of files to Microsoft Outlook.

    .eml

    .msg

    .pst

If they are not associated with Microsoft Outlook, click Change program.

    4)      Click Close.

    2.       As a work around, you can select “Never combine” for Taskbar buttons.

    Best Regards

    Dale
