  • Question

  • I add some html tag into the source editor as a site owner , for example

    <TABLE style="BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse; FONT-SIZE: 1em;background-image:url('http://ip address/map.jpg')" border=0>

    .........

    </TABLE>

    there is no issue with my site owner account, but when i sign in as a site visitor , i can not see the backgroup image

    i'm sure of the two acounts could see the image seperately by IE

    is there any body could give a solution? thx

  • does the image come from a Sharepoint Site, like a doc lib or image lib?

    Then make sure that both accounts have read permissions! You could e.g stop inheriting permissions for this image and give all authenticated users read permission.

  • You can put the styles in a class and then put that class in custom stylesheet. This should render the style.

    Also check that the library containing background image has read permission for all.Give relative path for the background image eg: ../../images/map.jpg

    Hope this Helps !!

  • Its also worth ensuring that you're not linking an image that is stored on your MySite.  That will often return a permission denied on image render.

  • thanks, but i'm sure of that it is not a permission issue. even so i change a background-image:url('http://ip address/map.jpg') to background-image:(images/map.gif) , i also cannot find the map.gif via another account.

    even so i added a <img scr:"images/map.gif alt="map"/> to the default.aspx source file, but the same result as above.

  • Liwei,

    are you absolutetly sure that you have checked in your site (where the CEWP is put on)? If not look at it with the Sharepoint Designer and tell us what color/form the icon for this page has.
